Why is quora so weird, that's why all of the questions are dumb

Why is quora so weird, Why is the Quora community so creepy and odd? Sometimes I just can't help to wonder, I never asked questions there, but there is always some answers to my google questions on that website, some are good, some are terribly bad, that's life. The fact is quora has ads on its sites if they can get people to continue to load pages with ads they get paid, bottom line. Why is Quora so weird? It seems most answers to questions, even the most simple ones, are walls of text with random unnecessary pictures and anecdotes that do nothing but circumvent the actual question and/or feel like the responder is jacking their ego off about how smart/experienced they are. Quora doesn't have any of this because there's nothing on Quora that resembles reddit's sub/group system. There's no sense of community because there's no groups, and there's no volunteer moderators.
